Happy Memorial Day
Hello Elite Members & Happy Memorial Day
With Memorial Day here, we wanted to take a quick moment to recognize and honor the brave men and women who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice.
This weekend means a lot to both of us personally, since Nic and I both have veterans in our families who served proudly. It’s something we never want to gloss over, especially while we’re out here building our business, traveling, meeting amazing people, and getting to live this lifestyle because of the freedoms we’ve been given.
To all of the veterans, military families, and service members in our community — thank you truly for your sacrifice, strength, and service. We appreciate you more than words can say.
We hope everyone has a meaningful Memorial Day weekend filled with family, good food, great conversations, and a little time to slow down and recharge before the week.

Around here, it’s been a rainy one in Houston, which has meant plenty office days, dashboard updates, and a few “maybe the rain will stop in 10 minutes” moments that turned into two-hour storms. Still, we’ve been making the most of it — building, refining, networking, and continuing to improve the Elite Card experience for all of you.
This past week we also attended a great event in Downtown Houston hosted by Verizon, and as always, those events remind us why we love what we do. Great people, great conversations, and endless reminders that networking with an Elite Card is one of the most memorable tools in business.
One of the highlights of the event, was being able to use the new scan business card with Ai feature! Nic would share his Elite Contact, and then they would hand him their paper card. Giving him the opportunity to demonstrate how he could just take a picture of it, front and back, and add all the information from the business card would instantly add right into the elite connections dashboard so he could simply press the quick action “text” button to have the conversation started!
If you haven’t tried this feature out yet, it’s pretty sweet!
You’re Probably Making This One Networking Mistake

A lot of professionals think the “hard part” is getting someone to tap their card.
It’s not.
The hard part is what happens after the tap.The real advantage? Consistency.
You can have the best conversation in the room. You can be charismatic, knowledgeable, funny, polished — all of it. But if the person you met leaves without a clear next step, there’s a good chance the connection quietly disappears into the digital void alongside 47 unread emails and 12 “we should connect sometime” conversations.
That’s why we constantly encourage Elite users to think beyond just sharing contact information. Your Elite Card should guide people somewhere intentionally.
A tap should feel less like handing someone a business card… and more like opening a door.
A Great Conversation Means Nothing Without a Next Step
One of the biggest mistakes we see?
People stop at the profile. The card gets tapped, they view profile, the links are there, the branding is sharp… and then nothing happens next.
No appointment booked.
No follow-up started.
No action taken.
The professionals seeing the best results right now are making the next step very easy. That means using features that you already have access to:
Adding direct calendar link to your text message template in settings. And sending that first text message seconds after they make it into your Elite Connections dashboard!
Editing their contact profile in your dashboard with details about them or conversations you had so you can reference and personalize your follow ups!
The reality is simple: following up is a huge part of closing deals. If someone has to “remember to contact you later,” you’ve already introduced friction. But if they can schedule a meeting while they’re still excited from the conversation? Completely different outcome. That’s why Elite Cards are meant to be active networking tools that keep momentum moving while the interaction is still warm. And honestly? That small adjustment alone can completely change your conversion rate from networking events, conferences, pop-ups, trade shows, and even casual introductions. Because attention spans are short. Momentum matters. And speed wins.
Built for Speed
Speaking of speed…
Last week we mentioned an optional paid upgrade “Profiles Presets” allowing Elite Card holders to seamlessly create and switch between different Elite Contact profiles. They can simply activate profiles with different contact info and links, and next time they share their elite card, it will be the info connected to that Elite Profile.

But creating new profiles and adding all of your keywords and rebuilding profiles from scratch would waste way too much time. So we built a copy info button into profile presets that makes the entire process dramatically faster.
Our Copy From Main Card feature allows you to duplicate fields directly from your primary profile with a single click. This has become especially useful for keywords since we strongly recommend keeping those consistent across profiles to maximize discoverability and brand continuity.
You can even duplicate your entire main profile — including photos, branding, links, and details — then simply modify the fields you want changed. The result? You can create a brand-new professional profile in seconds instead of spending half your afternoon rebuilding the same information repeatedly. We’re always looking for ways to make the platform feel smoother because we know most of you are already juggling enough throughout your day.
If a feature can save you 30 minutes every week, that matters to us!

Bus Life Update
Houston weather has definitely been keeping us on our toes lately. This past week brought plenty of rain, which meant we spent more time indoors than usual, working from the office whenever we could and trying to time errands between storms. Bus life during rainy weeks becomes a funny mix of productivity, weather apps, and strategically sprinting to the bathroom without getting soaked. The Verizon event downtown was definitely a highlight of the week. Great turnout, great conversations, and a room full of ambitious people building exciting things. Those kinds of events always recharge our creativity and remind us how powerful genuine in-person networking still is in a world dominated by screens.
And yes… plenty of Elite Cards were tapped.

Have a Great Week!
Your Elite Card should do more than impress people.
It should help move relationships forward.
As always, we appreciate every single one of you for being part of this journey with us. Watching this community grow has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited for everything still ahead. And if you’re attending events this week… don’t forget to tell people where to go after the tap.
